“Seek the LORD while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.” – Isaiah 55:6-7
Several weeks ago, it became clear that Jesus was inviting us by The Spirit to draw near to the Father. God led us to make the building available two days a week to devote several hours to individual prayer. He then called us as a body to set apart 24 hours last weekend to be devoted to continuous corporate prayer. The Lord has called us to seek Him, He is meeting us, and we are grateful.
As we look ahead to this Sunday, it became clear that Jesus was calling us to gather together to seek the Lord as a family. To that end, we will be meeting online and in-person. For those that can attend in person, we believe we can do this safely and are taking the responsible steps below to ensure that, as we gather, we minimize the risk presented by Covid-19.
Online attendance as individuals or in homes is available, and, as always, is up to each household to make arrangements. If you have or have experienced any of the following symptoms in the last 14 days, please participate remotely:
- fever or chills
- shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- muscle or body aches
- new loss of taste or smell
- sore throat
- congestion or runny nose
- nausea or vomiting
If you are immunocompromised or are at high risk, please participate online as well. We know you will be blessed, encouraged, and invited into what God has for us as a church family!
We will continue to have appropriate social distancing seating in the auditorium, and masks will be required during worship, and any time you are moving out of your seat.
Ushers, greeters and volunteers will be wearing masks and will make one available if you forget to bring yours. We know this is an inconvenience and appreciate your consideration of others.
Child Care and Kingdom Kids will be available at 10:00 am for those that attend in person. Please bring your children to their classrooms where teachers will warmly receive them. Our Children’s workers will be masked, the toys will be sanitized before and after service, and we will minimize the types of activities that lead to transmission. Please pick up your children after service when you are ready to leave the building to reduce children’s interactions outside the classroom.
We are living in a challenging season and take great comfort in how Jesus has led us up until now. We look forward to meeting with Him together this Sunday.
Note – We will provide further guidance on upcoming Sunday services and formats in the week leading up to each Sunday.
