November 3 @ 10:00 am
An event every month that begins at 10:00 am on day First of the month, repeating until December 8, 2019
Come out and join us on every first Sunday of the month for a family style breakfast before Sunday service. This is a great time to feed the kids before church while meeting new people. This is a relaxed atmosphere with good food and enjoyable conversations.
This is also the time where we as a church receive communion together. Communion was initiated by Jesus Christ in what is known as the “Last Supper” found in the New Testament books of Mt. 26:17–30, Mk. 14:12–26, Lk. 22:7–39 and Jn. 13:1–17:26. Instead of the traditional communion of a wafer and small cup of juice administered by a pastor or leader, we take communion in the Biblical manner found in 1 Corinthians 11:17-33. The Apostle Paul instructed the church to take communion as a local family in what was known as a “love feast” in the New Testament (Jude 1:12). On this first Sunday of the month, during the family style meal, we stop and take communion as we remember the body and blood of Jesus.
